About University Of Mindanao:
I was shocked the first time I entered that school because it was enormous. What I cannot forget was that I had to walk from the entrance gate to our classroom for 10 mins. The facilities weren’t that presentable since the establishment was old already. And just like the school most of our professors were old. The only air-conditioned area there was the faculty and the computer lab.

About University Of Mindanao:
UM Matina as a whole was an average school to be with. Back then, one thing I hated the most, was that all students had to walk very far from our entrance (main gate to our building. In terms of facilities we had air-conditioned Audio Visual Rooms, Computer lab (good for 1 or 2 hours login time), a lot of Science Labs, and our Library was large enough to accommodate most of the students.

My current job:
I am now a Technical Support Specialist (tier 2) at Convergys Davao. Having a great educational background in English helped me a lot with this kind of work.

How long did it take to find a job after graduation:
After graduating I had my first job as call center agent at Sutherland global services Inc. 3 months after graduating they called to me for interviewing and screening, luckily I was accepted.

Why did I choose this school:
It is a well-known school of high academic standard and also, the tuition fees are negotiable. Besides it’s a walking distance from our home.

About University Of Mindanao:
When I first look at the place, it was good but not that impressive, anyway you can’t judge a book by it’s cover… They have facilities for certain activities, very accommodating staff – only for those important cases; like payments, registrations, and etc. A friendly environment I may say since I didn’t found anything to offend me or seeing myself in an embarrassing situation.

The professors were sometimes freaky – I mean trying to get us do or make some weird stuff or maybe it is only new to me. But, to summarize, the instructors were really nice and good in teaching.

My current job:
I’m a Social Studies teacher.
I’m teaching high school students about geographies and history in a prestigious private school.

How long did it take to find a job after graduation:
After passing the board and getting a licence. I became a trainee before I become stable, so, maybe 8 months.
