Enrollment Procedure

Admission Policies and Procedures SY 2012-2013

  1. Qualifications of Incoming Freshmen
  • Must be currently enrolled in fourth year high school
  • Must be a high school graduate upon application for PSU-College Admission Test
  • Must be of Good Moral Character or
  • Transferee from other colleges/universities
  • Has passed the Alternative Learning System (ALS)

Requirements and Fee:

  1. Duly accomplished PSU-CAT Form
  2. Two (2) identical 2 X 2 photo in plain background with name tag
  3. Photocopy of Form 138 (Report Card)
  4. Self-addressed envelope (if mailed result is desired)
  5. One hundred pesos (100.00) PSU-CAT Fee
  6. For Foreign Students
  • Pass the PSU-CAT and the PSU English Proficiency Test prior to admission
  • Submit the following:
    • Valid Student VISA
    • Original Transcript of Records (OTR) with English Translation
    • Identification card issued by the Philippine Bureau of Immigration
    • TOEFL or IELTS results

Admission Procedures

  1. Get/secure application form from the:
    1. Guidance Office/Student Services Office of the chosen campus.
    2. Admission and Testing Office, PSU Lingayen, Pangasinan.
    3. Download the form here.
  2. Properly accomplish PSU-CAT application form and attach recent two (2) identical 2 X 2 photo with name tag.
  3. Pay testing fee to designated cashier and get official receipt.
  4. Submit accomplished PSU-CAT form with requirements and the official receipt to the Guidance Office/Student Services Office of chosen campus.
  5. Get examination test permit.

During the Examination day

  1. Go to the designated testing center specified in the examination permit.
  2. Bring Mongol pencil #2.
  3. Present examination permit to the examiner.

For those who passed the PSU-CAT get/secure interview schedule from the campus where PSU-CAT was taken.Result of PSU-CAT

  1. Results will be published thru the internet at the PSU website (www.psu.edu.ph)
  2. Examinees will be sent their individual notice (for those who submitted self-addressed envelope).

Note: Application Forms will be released (2) two weeks before the examination day.University Comprehensive Scholarship Program(BOR Resolution No. 47, s. 2009)

Online Enrollment Procedure

Step 1: Login to the PSU Student Portal using your Student ID Number as username and password Step 2: Check your Grades for previous semester by clicking the Individual Evaluation Report Panel.

Note: Subjects that have pre-requisite will not be included from the subjects offered if it is not yet finalized. Only subjects that are clear will be taken by the students enrolling.

Step 3: Go back to main menu and click the Student Ledger of Accounts Panel to check the previous accounts. Note: Students that have outstanding balance will not be allowed to proceed to enroll. Outstanding balance must be settled first for them to enroll.

Step 4: Go to Main Menu and click the “Enrollment / Registration Panel”

 Click the Save Button to proceed.  Select your Block Section.  Click the Load Section Button.  Click the Save all for addition Button.  Set Payment mode to Full Payment and Click Compute and Print Button for Viewing the Accounts.  Account Summary displays the Total Account Balance of the students.

Step 5: Proceed to Cashier’s Section for the payment of the balance. Note: Ask for a copy of Official Receipt.

 Students who want to print a hard copy of their account summary may click the Print Button if they are using the system outside the campus, or ask for a printed copy from the designated personnel in the College Section Area. (CTET – Internet Station; CCS/CASL – LAB3; CHMBPA – LAB4).

Step 6: (For new Students only ) Proceed to ID Section and present Official Receipt for ID Processing.

Step 7: Congratulations! You have successfully enrolled to Pangasinan State University. Note: Issuance of Class Cards will be to the assigned Subject Instructor.
